What We Do PDF

Consult

We realise that every person can and does make a difference and have developed a rigorous selection process to ensure that our people have that certain flair that simply cannot be taught. We provide the team with the latest official training to ensure that they stay up to date with all of the relevant technologies.

Whether it’s helping to define your IT strategy, troubleshooting a stubborn performance issue or just having a chat about what is happening in the market. Our people are friendly, fun and here to help you.

At PhillipsTaylorBrown, there's one major aspect we believe sets our consultants apart from the competition, yet is unbelievably crucial in their role - and that's proven practical experience! Our team is available to provide you with professional and impartial advice, and are considered experts in their chosen fields.

Design

The key to the success of any network infrastructure is good design and planning. Without thorough investigation at this crucial stage, the solution will inevitably suffer later in its lifecycle.

When the design phase is rushed, it can appear as though the solution presents good value for money. But be warned, such solutions invariably cost more in the long term. At best the solution will be likely to have higher rollout, maintenance and support requirements. At worst, development may need to be scrapped if critical factors are not taken into account at an early enough stage.

At PhillipsTaylorBrown, our solutions architects have the experience required to lessen these risks and work with you, or your service provider, to deliver a solution that is robust, cost effective, easy to deploy and simple to manage.

Integrate

Many IT systems grow as your business dictates, with components being 'bolted-on' as the need for them arises. Often this new functionality is required 'yesterday' and has to be implemented hurriedly and on a tight budget. These quick win solutions can appear cost-effective in the short term, but over time these systems can become complex and unmanageable, leading to more expense and hampering staff productivity.

At PhillipsTaylorBrown we specialise in the integration of disparate systems, tying them together transparently (perhaps using tools you already own that have not been implemented to their full advantage).
